Hour 27: I am still reading 'Hero at the Fall' by Alwyn Hamilton (I am on page 298/506), but I also listening to a new audiobook: 'Tales of the Peculiar' (Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children 0.5)

Day 1 in 24in48 Readathon

I started the 24in48 readathon with an audiobook. ❤❤❤

Hour 6 Challenge: There are two Marvelous Opening Lines in my #24in48 tbr:

1. 

"What good is love, if it can't save anyone from death?" - 'The Dolls' by Cristina Nemerovschi 

2.

 "Sometimes, I worry that I'm not the hero everyone thinks I am" / "Ash fell from the sky" - 'The final empire' (Mistborn Book One) by Brandon Sanderson.

Hour 15: Finished my first book in 24in48 ('Girl in pieces'), now on the second 'Hero at the fall' by Alwyn Hamilton ❤❤❤

I am almost done with my audiobook - 70%.

My longest unread book I own is "Frankenstein" by Marry Shelley. I have it since mid 2016.

Hour 33:

 Finished my 2nd book, now onto my 3rd book. It is "Days of Blood and Starlight" - Laini Taylor.

Hour 42 Challenge: My best and worst cover on my shelves.

My best cover is "The Night Circus" - Erin Morgenstern 😍😍😍

My worst cover is "The Chronoliths" - Robert Charles Wilson.

Hour 43:

I did it! I finished #24in48 Readathon!😎😎😎 I would have finished my 3rd book (I am on page 337/464), but I can't, I need sleep. 😪😪😪

Day 1 in 24in48 Readathon

Hour 1:
 I started the 24in48 Readathon with an unfinished ebook: "Even the darkest stars" - Heather Fawcett (I'm on page 78/304).

Hour 6: 

Challenge: What’s the oldest children’s book you have, or a book you’ve held onto since your childhood?

 My oldest childhood's book I have is "Puss in Boots" by Charles Perrault. I have this book since I was in 2nd grade. 

Hour 8: 

I finished my ebook "Even the darkest stars" - Heather Fawcett. Now I'm taking a break. 

Total pages: 226

Hour 11: 

I'm listening to "Ink and Bone" by Rachel Caine. I'am 13% done with it. 

Hour 12 Challenge: 

Favorite first line in my #24in48 stack of books belongs to "Spellbook of the Lost and Found" by Moira Fowley-Doyle.

Hour 19:

Now it's time for a nap. I will do remaining hours tomorrow.

Wrap Up 24in48 Readathon

RO: Este prima oară când particip la un astfel de maraton de citit şi sunt foarte fericită că am reuşit să citesc cele 24 de ore din 48.

ENG: It is for the first time when I am attending such a Readathon and I am very happy that I have been able to read the 24 hours of 48.

RO: Studiu

1. Câte cărți ați citit? Pagini? (Dacă nu ați reţinut, spuneți-mi și asta!)

Am citit "Jane Eyre" - Charlotte Bronte (mai aveam de citit din ea 136 de pagini dinainte de maraton), "Lirael" - Garth Nix (Vechiul Regat #2), care a avut 604 pagini - deci au fost 740 de pagini în total. 

Apoi am ascultat audiobookul "The Good Girl" - Mary Kubica, carea fost de 9 ore şi 40 de minute şi după aceea am reuşit să ascult 1 oră şi 24 de minute din  'Prince of Thorns' - Mark Lawrence  (deci în total 11 ore şi 4 minute) ca să îmi ating targetul de 24 de ore.

2. Câte ore ai citit?

La 46 de ore în maraton mi-am atins targetul cu încă câteva minute în plus: 24 de ore şi 14 minute

3. Ce credeți că a funcționat bine în aceast maraton?

Totul 

4. Ce credeți că s-ar putea face pentru a îmbunătăți maratonul pentru data viitoare?

Aş vrea mai multe premii internaţionale.

5. Veți ma participa la un viitor 24in48 Readathon?

1. How many books did you read? Pages? (If you didn’t keep track, tell me that too!)

I read "Jane Eyre" - Charlotte Bronte (I had 136 pages left to read when I started the readtahon), "Lirael" - Garth Nix (The Old Kingdom # 2), which had 604 pages - so there were 740 pages in total.

Then I listened to an audiobook "The Good Girl" - Mary Kubica, which was 9 hours and 40 minutes and then I managed to listen 1 hour and 24 minutes to 'Prince of Thorns' - Mark Lawrence (so a total of 11 hours and 4 minutes) to reach my target for 24 hours.

 

2. How many hours did you read?

At Hour 46  I reached my target with a few extra minutes: 24 hours and 14 minutes

3. What do you think worked well in this readathon?

Everything.

4.  What do you think could be done to improve the readathon for next time?

I want more international prizes.

5. Will you participate in a future 24in48 readathon?

Yes!!!

RO: Aproape 33 de ore în maraton - este duminică și până în momentul de față am citit 13 ore jumătate din 24. Am început să ascult thriller-ul "The Good Girl" - Mary Kubica.

ENG: Almost Hour 33 - is Sunday and I have been reading for 13 hours and half. I began listening to a thriller "The Good Girl" - Mary Kubica.

RO: 37 de ore în maraton - Am ajuns la pagina 453 din Lirael - Garth Nix. Cele 191 pagini mi-au luat aproape 2 ore şi 40 de minute. Acum ascult The Good Girl - Mary Kubica. Am citit 16 ore şi 10 minute şi mai am 5 ore şi 50 de minute ca să îmi ating targetul de 24 de ore.

ENG: Hour 37 - I am on page 453 of Lirael - Garth Nix. The 191 pages took me almost 2 hours and 40 minutes. Now I am listening to The Good Girl - Mary Kubica. I have been reading fo 16 hours and 10 minutes and I have to read 5 hours and 50 minutes more to reach the 24 hours in 48 hours.

RO: 46 de ore în maraton - Am reușit să îmi ating targetul de 24 de ore. Am terminat de citit 'Lirael' și de ascultat audiobook-ul 'The Good Girl'. Deoarece mai trebuia să citesc vreo oră ca să termin maratonul am început un alt audiobook 'Prince of Thorns' - Mark Lawrence 

ENG: hour 46 - I finished the Readathon. I finished reading 'Lirael' and listening to the 'The Good Girl' audiobook. Because after I had one hour to complete in the Readathon I began listening to an another audiobook 'Prince of Thorns' - Mark Lawrence.

24in48 Read-a-Thon

RO: În acest weekend (timpul meu: Sâmbătă 07:01 - Luni 06:59) are loc 24in48 ReadaThon şi este prima oară când particip la un astfel de Readathon. Sper ca în aceste două zile să citesc cât mai mult şi să reuşesc să ating targetul de 24 de ore.

ENG: This weekend (my time: Saturday, 07:01 am - Monday, 06:59 am) takes place the 24in48 ReadaThon and is the first time I am attending such a Readathon. I hope in these two days to read as much as possible and to achieve my 24 hour goal.

RO: Acestea sunt câteva din cărţile pe care le am şi nu am reuşit să le citesc. Sper ca în acest Readathon să termin măcar două.

RO: 9 ore în maraton - Deci au trecut cam nouă ore din maraton şi am venit cu progresul meu:

RO: ✻ am început maratonul la ora 08:52 cu capitolul 28 din Jane Eyre şi am citit până la ora 10:16 (capitolul 33)

ENG: ✻ I started the marathon at 08:52  with Chapter 28 of Jane Eyre and I read until 10:16 (Chapter 33)

RO: ✻ apoi am luat o pauză, după care am terminat cartea între orele 12:10 - 14:14

ENG: hour 14 - so the first 14 hours of the marathon have passed and i had read 174 pages of my second book Lirael - Garth Nix (The Old Kingdom #2) and I also  drank my second cup a coffe too
